Lyndora Hotel transfers liquor license to Harrisville Sheetz

File photo.

The Lyndora Hotel, a popular tavern located on Main Street in Lyndora, has transferred its liquor license to a Sheetz location in Harrisville, according to a sign on the door of the Sheetz.

The convenience store chain is expanding into selling alcoholic beverages at its stores. Last year, a Sheetz location in Adams Township received clearance to sell beer and wine upon its opening.

A walk-in “beer cave” has already been installed within the Harrisville store, along with a sign saying “Beer run coming soon.”

The Lyndora Hotel’s current liquor license expires on Friday, June 30, and was last reissued on June 15, 2022. Co-owners Mike Pawk and his sister Laura Santoro, have attempted to sell the Lyndora Hotel property for nearly a year, with news of the attempted sale breaking in July 2022.
