PHILIPPI, W.Va. — The Slippery Rock University volleyball team came back from two sets down at Alderson-Broaddus to tie, but dropped the fifth set 15-10 on Tuesday.
The Rock (11-6) fell 25-20 and 25-19 before bouncing back with scores of 25-22 and 26-24 to tie the nonconference match.
Caroline Huston led Slippery Rock with 13 kills, while Sarah Cadwallader added 11 kills, Hannah McShea 22 digs and Janna Reilly 22 assists.

CONCORD, N.C. — NASCAR points leader Brad Keselowski says he's scaling back his Nationwide Series schedule to focus on winning the Sprint Cup championship.Keselowski says he will not run the Nationwide race at Kansas later this month. Penske Racing will instead have Ryan Blaney run.Keselowski said Tuesday during an appearance at Charlotte Motor Speedway he'll evaluate the rest of his Nationwide schedule as the season winds down. He is leading the Chase for the Sprint Cup championship with seven races remaining.
NEW YORK — Major League Baseball agreed with Fox and Turner Sports on eight-year contracts that will run through 2021 and keep the World Series on Fox.The amount baseball receives from the two networks will double to an average of about $800 million annually, with Fox's share averaging about $500 million.“Both networks are passionate about baseball and are committed to covering, promoting and growing the sport, and I want to thank them for their continued support,” Commissioner Bud Selig said Tuesday.
