Glenda Blauser

Glenda Dunkle Blauser, 61, of Boyers died May 22 at Grove Manor in Grove City after a long illness.

She was born Nov. 12, 1947, in Massillon, Ohio, and was the daughter of Loyal V. and Bertha L. Kriley Dunkle.

A 1965 graduate of Slippery Rock High School, she was a certified nursing assistant and at one time worked for the St. John Specialty Care Center in Mars.

She was a Catholic.

She is survived by three stepdaughters, Mrs. Leonard (Robin) Podvasnik of Sandy Lake, Mrs. Steven (Garilyn) Montgomery of Boyers and Mrs. Joseph (Sondra) Robertson of Huntsville, Ala.; two stepsons, Gary Robert Blauser Jr. of Boyers and Cecil Blauser of Hooker; a number of step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren; four sisters, Mrs. William (Donna) Hartle of Hilliards, Mrs. Gale (Jeannie) Gray of Lock Haven, Mrs. David (Cynthia) Fischer of Carbon Center and Mrs. Richard (Louise) Lynn of Grove City; and a brother, Walter Dunkle and his wife, Tina, of Butler.

She was preceded by her parents, two brothers, a stepson, a step-granddaughter and a step-great-grandson.

<B>BLAUSER</B> — A memorial service for Glenda Dunkle Blauser, who died Friday, May 22, 2009, will be held at 8:30 a.m. Tuesday, June 2, at the St. Christopher at the Lake Catholic Church in Prospect with the Rev. Matthew Tosello officiating.Arrangements are by the<B> Jay Bryan Funeral Home</B> in Prospect.
