Thursday - Two Butler girls, whom police did not identify, were cited for retail theft after allegedly shoplifting $93 in undisclosed items from the Kmart store at Pullman Square.11:49 a.m. Tuesday - A car driven by Joseph Duncan, 19, of Connoquenessing Township struck a car driven by Mollie Hibbs, 53, of Butler Township, on East Jefferson Street. Police said Hibbs, who drove off after the crash, was cited for an accident involving damage to an attended vehicle.

5:35 p.m. Tuesday - A Butler Township man was seriously injured in a two-vehicle crash at Route 68 and South Duffy Road.Kevin Quinn, 32, of Lyndora was flown by medical helicopter with possible neck injuries to Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh. He is listed in good condition.Quinn was a passenger in a vehicle driven by Paul Claypoole, 27, of Butler that collided with a vehicle driven by Francis Soose, 48, of Butler.Claypoole, who was treated for a leg injury at Butler Memorial Hospital, was cited for making an illegal left turn.

4:27 p.m. Thursday - A pickup truck driven by Thomas Stroup, 75, of Butler pulled out from a parking lot and collided with a car, driven by Victoria Hipple, 47, of Chicora, on Route 68 in Chicora. Stroup was cited for illegally entering the road.Thursday - An undetermined amount of money was taken between 7:30 p.m. Wednesday and 7 a.m. Thursday in a burglary at Smardt Equipment on New Castle Road in Prospect.9:38 p.m. Monday - Robert Marburger, 43, of Renfrew was arrested following an altercation at a Plateau Street home in Connoquenessing Township. Marburger, who is charged with violating a court-issued protection from abuse order and harassment, was placed in Butler County Prison in lieu of $2,500 bond.2:15 p.m. Saturday - A suspect, whom police did not identify, allegedly shoplifted two cordless power drills from the Sears store in Clearview Mall in Center Township.

10:40 p.m. Wednesday - A motorcycle driven by Lewis Surrena, 56, of Harrisville crashed into a ditch and embankment at Harrisville Road and Route 965 in Worth Township, Mercer County. Police did not disclose if Surrena, who was not injured, was wearing a helmet.Tuesday - A Craftsman electric chainsaw was taken between April 6 and Tuesday from a garage at the Patterson School Road home of Gary Boylan in Worth Township, Mercer County.
