Mary JoAnne Bauman

Mary JoAnne Bauman, of Cabot, celebrated her 90th birthday on June 10 with a family dinner at her daughter’s home in Butler.

The former Mary Zorb was born on June 10, 1933, in Butler.

She married Thomas Hook on Oct. 18, 1952, at Grace Lutheran Church in Butler, and Donald Bauman on Oct. 24, 1986, at St. Mark Lutheran Church in Butler. Both are deceased.

She has three children, Debbie Tishey of Fountain Inn, S.C., Barbara Blakley of Butler, and David Hook of Karns City.

Bauman also has six grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

She worked at Bell Telephone before marrying, and she volunteered at the Butler Blind Association once her children were grown.

She is a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Butler.
