2 a.m. Sunday — James Coulter, 22, of Butler was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence at Route 68 and Benbrook Road in Connoquenessing Township.12:15 a.m. Sunday — Three people were injured when a car driven by Brendan Carroll, 20, of Butler struck a utility pole and tree along Hannahstown Road near Route 356 in Jefferson Township.Carroll, who was wearing a seat belt, suffered moderate injuries. Two passengers — Lacey Woodrow, 18, of Sarver and a 16-year-old Saxonburg girl who police did not identify — suffered minor injuries. Woodrow was wearing a seat belt; the girl was not.Sunday — Several tools valued at more than $250 were taken from a garage between Dec. 25 and Sunday in a burglary at the Kittanning Pike home of Stanley Hertzig in Fairview Township.12:10 p.m. Saturday—Apickup truck driven by Paul Barkley, 56, of Emlenton and a car driven by Robert Stone, 83, of Hilliards collided at Route 38 and Byron Center Road in Allegheny Township.Stone and Freda Stone, 78, a passenger in the car, were treated for minor injuries at Butler Memorial Hospital; both were wearing seat belts.10:05 a.m. Saturday — Acar driven by Richard Davis, 55, of Slippery Rock and a sport utility vehicle driven by Emma Mehelich, 63, of Butler collided at Route 8 and Elgie Lane in Center Township.7:40 a.m. Saturday — Adam Cubbage, 23, of Hilliards was arrested for suspicion of DUI after his pickup truck struck several pines trees and rolled over on Route 38 in Eau Claire. Cubbage, who was not wearing a seat belt, suffered minor injuries.3:37 a.m. Saturday — Charles R. Gage, 26, of Butler was charged with DUI after he was stopped for a traffic violation at the intersection of Mahood and Jamisonville roads in Center Township.2:40 a.m. Saturday — William J. Kane, 53, of Sarver was charged with DUI and several traffic violations after his truck crashed into a bridge abutment along Anderson Road in Clinton Township. He had fled the scene on foot and police found him at his residence. Kane, who was wearing a seat belt, had a minor hand injury.1:59 a.m. Saturday — Bruce T. Wiskeman, 54, of West Sunbury was charged with DUI and other traffic violations after police stopped him on Branchton Road in Washington Township. He also is being charged with possession of a small amount of a controlled substance.1:35 a.m. Saturday — Gerald A. Huntington, 30, of Butler was stopped for suspected DUI on New Castle Road in Butler Township.Dec. 15-Saturday — Burglars made off with copper tubing and pipes from a house on Coaltown Road in Cherry Township.Saturday — Two 15-year-old girls are to be charged with retail theft after allegedly taking clothing items from the JC Penney store at Clearview Mall in Center Township.5:15 p.m. Friday-3:30 a.m. Saturday — The car of Katelin Burger, 20, of West Middlesex, Mercer County, parked at a park-and-ride lot at Route 108 and Interstate 79, was broken into and two iPods and about 20 music CDs were taken.Between 6 and 7 a.m. Wednesday — A yellow toolbox was taken from the bed of a truck parked at 290 Holyoke Road in Center Township. Carl Ellenberger owns the truck and tools.
2:20 a.m. Saturday — Joshua Robert Baker, 23, of Grove City was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence after his car crashed into an embankment at North Foster Road and Route 62 in Jackson Township, Mercer County. Baker, who was not wearing a seat belt, was treated for minor injuries at Grove City Medical Center.1:30 a.m. Friday — Michelle Lee Doyle, 22, of Pittsburgh was arrested for suspicion of DUI at Route 208 and Hemlock Trail in Pine Township, Mercer County.
