Augustine J. “Augie” Bell, 74, of Cranberry Township, passed away Wednesday afternoon, June 14, 2023, at her home.

Born in New York City June 21, 1948, she was the daughter of Edward and Jenny Mazerino Campbell.

Augie graduated from William Patterson University with a Bachelor of Science in Education and then earned her Master’s Degree in Education from Duquesne University.

She had worked as a schoolteacher in New Jersey and later worked as an office manager at Schmidt Consulting, was a receptionist at Bally’s in North Hills and finally worked as a manager at Mars Alliance Church, now LifePointe Alliance Church.

She had been a member of Cranberry Community United Presbyterian Church and LifePointe Alliance Church in Bradford Woods.

Surviving are two sons, Douglas Bell of Cranberry Township and Lucas Bell of Ambridge; a daughter, Leah Bell Browning (James) of Cambridge, Md.; two grandchildren, Kasey and Riley Bell; and a sister, Sandra Campbell Wise (Errol) of Sarasota, Fla.

She was preceded in death by her husband, David E. Bell, whom she married July 10, 1971, and who died Dec. 30, 2018.

BELL — Friends of Augustine J. “Augie” Bell, who died Wednesday, June 14, 2023, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the MCDONALD-AEBERLI FUNERAL HOME, 238 Crowe Ave., Mars.

A private graveside service will be in Mars Cemetery, Adams Township.
