Growing, cooking with herbs event set June 20
Growing and using herbs in the kitchen will be the topic of a free event at 7 p.m. Tuesday, June 20, at Scrubgrass Grange, 5104 Emlenton-Clintonville Road, Emlenton.
Several samples of food and a drink using herbs will be available for taste testing. Herbs also will be given as door prizes.
Presenting the program are Susan Courson, Penn State Master Gardener, and Maxine Sullivan, who attended Johnson & Wales University Culinary School.
Scrubgrass Grange is sponsoring this event as part of its Talking Tuesday programs on topics of local interest. The free programs are open to the public.
