Helen A. Devore

Helen A. Devore, 91, of Sugarcreek Rest Home, formally of Bradys Bend and East Brady, died Friday at Sugarcreek Rest Home.

Born March 10, 1918, in Center Township, she was the daughter of Wasyl and Anna (Krenitsky) Bungar.

She was the wife of the late Harry M. Devore, who she married Jan. 7, 1947.

She enjoyed bingo, traveling to the casino and "CHA-CHING!"

She is survived by five daughters, Joyce Desmond of Butler, Marlene Bolden of State College, Janet McArdle of Wilson, Wisc., Gloria Croyle of Adrian, and Paula Parker of Elizabeth; three sisters, Mary Uschak of Grove City, Jean Markiw of Butler, and Alice Davis of Long Island, N.Y.; a brother, William Bungar of Butler; 13 grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, who died June 1992; a brother; a grandson, and a son-in-law.

<B>DEVORE</B> — Friends of Helen A. Devore, who died Friday, Dec. 11, 2009, will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. today and 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday at the <B>Charles B. Buechele Funeral Home</B>, 105 Fourth St., East Brady. The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Interim pastor Mark Hillwig, East Brady Baptist Church, will officiate.Private burial will be in Summit Presbyterian Cemetery, Summit Township.Memorials may be sent to the Richard Laube Cancer Center, c/o ACMH Hospital, 1 Nolte Drive, Kittanning, PA 16201.
