Butler Twp Police9:30 a.m. Thursday — Richard J. Ealy, 24, of Butler was placed in Butler County Prison on a protection from abuse violation. He allegedly contacted his ex-girlfriend through Facebook.The PFA order was issued in July.

State Police, Clarion5:35 p.m. Friday — A four-car chain reaction accident occurred on Route 422 in Slippery Rock Township, Lawrence County.Police said a car driven by Melissa D. Lazusky, 24, of Eldred, McKean County, failed to stop for traffic in the westbound lane and struck the back of a car driven by Margaret L. Angle, 68, of DeLand, Florida.The impact caused Angle’s car to strike the back of another car, forcing it into a fourth vehicle.Lazusky was cited for a traffic lane violation.
