Police Reports
The following items have been collected from various police departments and district courts:
May 23 — John D. Rob, 33, of Butler, was charged with misdemeanor simple assault. Police said he pushed someone to the ground.
May 23 — Jessica H. Hilliard, 37, of Butler, was charged with felony theft. Police said she left a 7-Eleven with merchandise without paying for it.
May 22 — Kenneth Smeal, 55, of Butler, was charged with felony strangulation and misdemeanors resisting arrest and simple assault. Police said he choked and slapped someone and refused to comply with officers’ orders.
May 23 — Sean P. Pell, 43, of Butler, was charged with felony escape. Police said he removed his electric monitoring bracelet after being ordered to house arrest for charges of theft.
May 24 — Annellyse M. Libby, 27, of Meadville, was charged with felony and misdemeanor theft for a string of alleged incidents at Walmart. Police said she left the store or fraudulently returned merchandise totaling $345, $278, $108, $779 and $1,290 on separate occasions.
May 24 — A 17-year-old juvenile male was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia for an incident at Butler Senior High School.
May 24 — Raymond L. Ayers, 41, of Harmony, was charged with two counts of felony theft. Police said he was paid $4,200 to perform services he did not complete.
May 24 — Sean P. Shafer, 20, of Pittsburgh, was charged with three misdemeanor counts of DUI after police stopped him on Interstate 79, Muddy Creek Township. Police said field sobriety tests showed he was impaired, and a later blood test showed traces of THC in his system.
May 24 — Evan M. Dodworth, 21, of Houston, Pa., was charged with three misdemeanor counts of DUI after police stopped him on Pleasant Valley Road, Muddy Creek Township. Police said field sobriety test showed he was impaired, and a later blood test showed traces of THC in his system.
May 24 — Joseph Zampini, 75, of Butler, was charged with two counts of misdemeanor DUI after police stopped him on Country Club Road, Franklin Township. Police said field sobriety tests showed he was impaired, and later breath tests showed Zampini’s blood alcohol content at 0.160%. In Pennsylvania, the legal limit is 0.08%.
May 23 — Richard W. Dusheck, 66, of Butler, was charged with two misdemeanor counts of use and possession of drug paraphernalia. Police said he was found with a small amount of marijuana and a crack pipe.
May 23 — Christopher A. Stivason, 34, of Saxonburg, was charged with felony theft. Police said he stole a motorcycle and sold it for $100.
May 23 — Joshua M. Kearns, 41, of Butler, was charged with two counts of misdemeanor DUI after police stopped him on Sixth Avenue, Butler. Police said field sobriety tests showed he was impaired, and a later breath test showed Kearns’ blood alcohol content at 0.180%. In Pennsylvania, the legal limit is 0.08%.
May 23 — Ryan H. Roche, 38, of Butler, was charged with misdemeanor DUI after police stopped him on Bear Creek Road, Winfield Township. Police said field sobriety tests showed he was impaired, and a later breath tests showed Roche’s blood alcohol content at 0.152%. In Pennsylvania, the legal limit is 0.08%.
May 23 — David Johnson, 43, of Butler, was charged with three misdemeanor counts of DUI and misdemeanor drug possession after police stopped him on Route 422, Summit Township. Police said field sobriety tests showed he was impaired, and a later blood test showed traces THC in his system. A large marijuana cigarette was found in his vehicle, police said.
May 23 — Grace L. Crouch, 22, of West Leechburg, was charged with two counts of misdemeanor DUI after she crashed her vehicle on Fallecker Road, Summit Township. Police said field sobriety tests showed she was impaired, and a later blood test showed Crouch’s blood alcohol content at 0.167%. In Pennsylvania, the legal limit is 0.08%.
May 23 — Jason W. Fresh, 43, of Karns City, was charged with felony firearm possession without a license. Police said he was in possession of a pistol and is not eligible for a conceal carry permit.
May 22 — Nicholas T. Heath, 42, of Prospect, was charged with three counts of misdemeanor DUI after police stopped him in Franklin Township. Police said field sobriety tests showed he was impaired, and a later blood test showed traces of methadone and lorazepam in Heath’s blood.
May 22 — Russell D. Stroup, 44, of West Sunbury, was charged with two misdemeanor counts of drug possession. Police said he was found with a bag of marijuana and a pipe.
