Stephen Dallos Jr.
Stephen Dallos Jr., of Port Charlotte, Fla., passed away peacefully Thursday at Tidewell Hospice in Port Charlotte, Fla., surrounded by family and friends.
Stephen was born Jan. 10, 1953, in Butler to the late Stephen Dallos Sr. and the late Wilma Ice Ealy.
Stephen was an avid hunter and loved to ride his Harley Davidson.
He had been employed by Lodge Construction of Fort Myers, Fla., as a superintendent of construction for the past 10 years.
Stephen also proudly served in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1971 to 1973.
Stephen is survived by a sister, Mary Katherine “Katie” Kauf of West Sunbury; brothers, Paul (Cindy) Dallos of Chesapeake, Va., and Philip (Deb) Dallos of Port Charlotte, Fla.; his stepfather Richard Ealy of North Washington; a special aunt, Helen Sellers of Ashdown, Ark.; and nieces and nephews, Michael Felix and daughter of Harrisville, Kelly (Rob) Evans and children, Travis Dallos and Valene Dallos, all of Chesapeake Va., Nicole Kauf of Butler and Annie (Jesse) Hicks of Zephyr Hills, Fla. Stephen also leaves behind many caring and loving friends.
Stephen also was preceded in death by his sister, Barbara, and nephew Erin Kauf.
<B>DALLOS </B>— A memorial service for Stephen Dallos Jr., who died Thursday, March 10, 2011, will be at 11 a.m. Friday, March 18, at the <B>Kays-Ponger Uselton Funeral Home and Cremation Service</B>, Port Charlotte Chapel. Inurnment to follow at the Sarasota National Cemetery, Sarasota, Fla.In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Tidewell Hospice of Port Charlotte, FL.
