12:01 a.m. Thursday — Richard Jones, 32, of Butler was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence on Alameda Park Road. He was also cited for driving with a suspended license, careless driving and criminal mischief.Thursday — Letty Roche reported that someone overnight stole ametal glider, patio chair and cushions from the porch of her Franklin Street home. The stolen property is valued at $260.12:17 a.m. Wednesday — Nicholas Rodgers, 16, of Butler was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence after his pickup truck backed up and hit the front of another pickup at Main and Wayne streets. Police said Rodgers drove off after the crash.Rodgers is also charged with accidents involving damage to an attended vehicle. Jonathan Passauer, 18, of Butler was driving the pickup hit in the collision.

2:24 p.m. March 14 — Three Butler area men were arrested in connection with the theft of an aluminum racing spoiler from a car parked at the Absolute Auto business on North Main Street.Charged with theft, receiving stolen property and criminal mischief are Ross Newell, 18; and Steven Dalton, 19. Charged with receiving stolen property is Robert Gould, 18.Police said the spoiler, taken sometime during the week of March 10 from the car owned by Jonathan Friedl, 28, of Cranberry Township, was later recovered at Newell's home in Center Township.

12:18 a.m. Thursday — Jennifer Newcamp, no age given, of Mars was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence at Route 8 and Three Degree Road in Butler.March 22 — A burglar overnight broke into the Dollar General Store on Route 8 in Center Township through the roof. The burglar tried unsuccessfully to break open a safe. Police did not indicate if any property was taken.
