Patrick Joseph “PJ” Spreng, 66 of Cabot, formerly of Shaler, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, June 5, 2023.

Born May 4, 1957, in Pittsburgh, he was the son of Harry C. Spreng and Florence Krotec Spreng.

He was the owner of PJ Spreng Auto Service. PJ spent his life working on cars and trucks and could fix just about anything. He enjoyed snowmobiling, drag races and mostly helping people. PJ also loved his cats. He was a great son, brother and friend, and he will be deeply missed.

Surviving are his mother, Florence Spreng; his siblings, Jeff (Lea) Spreng, Harry (Judy) Spreng, Karen (Roger) Friend and Lisa Sullivan; his good friend, Marcie Chittester; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family.

He is preceded in death by his father, Harry C. Spreng; and sister, Lynn Campbell.

SPRENG — Friends of Patrick Joseph “PJ” Spreng, who died Monday, June 5, 2023, will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at FOX FUNERAL HOME, 410 W. Main St., Saxonburg.

Additional visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.

A blessing service will follow at 12:30 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to a charity of one's choice.
