Webb

Sylvia M. Webb, 89, of Clay Township, passed away the morning of Tuesday, June 6, 2023.

Born on March 16, 1934, in Butler County, she was the daughter of the late Ralph A. Brown and late Mildred Ekis Brown.

Sylvia was a member of Springdale Lutheran Church. She retired from Magnetics in 1999 and then went on to work at Walmart and retired after 18 years. She enjoyed bowling every Friday, working on puzzles and crosswords and lunch with her nieces.

Sylvia is survived by her three daughters, Susan Earley White (Gene Ruffner), Karen Webb and Terri (John) Leinenbach; one son, Howard Webb; 14 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren. She also is survived by her best friend, Cora Thomas; and many nieces and nephews.

Sylvia was preceded in death by six brothers and one sister.

WEBB — Visitation for family and friends of Sylvia M. Webb, who died Tuesday, June 6, 2023, will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the WILLIAM F. YOUNG FUNERAL HOME, 132 Main St., West Sunbury.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Springdale Lutheran Church, 1061 Mahood Road, West Sunbury, with Pastor Dennis Protzman officiating. Everyone is asked to meet at church.

Burial will be private in West Sunbury Union Cemetery.
