Elsie Marie Geibel, 89, of Colquitt, Ga., formerly of Butler, passed away Friday, June 2, 2023, at her daughter’s home in Butler.

Born in Butler on July 1, 1933, she was a daughter of the late Robert and Eva Saxman Kammerdeiner.

Elsie formerly was employed as a laborer at Castle Rubber Company.

She is survived by five children, Frank Miller (Elaine), of Chicora, Mara Harrison (Tom), of Butler, Bill Miller, Sr. (Misi), of Butler, Dave Miller (Linda), of Fenelton, and Vickie Geibel (Nicki Trawick), of Colquitt, Ga.; eight grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James Aloysius Geibel, who passed away April 8, 1999; two sons, Barry Miller and Joseph Kramer; three grandsons, Simon Miller, Bill Miller Jr. and Michael Kramer; and several brothers and sisters.

GEIBEL— Visitation, funeral services and burial for Elsie Marie Geibel, who died on Friday, June 2, 2023, will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
