Helen M. Reott, 93, of Butler, formerly of Evans City Road, passed away Tuesday at the St. John Specialty Care Center in Mars.

Born in Butler, May 25, 1916, she was the daughter of the late August and Josephine Laurent Cornibe.

A homemaker, she was formerly employed at Spaide Shirt Factory and at the canteen at VA Butler Healthcare.

She served as a Red Cross volunteer at Butler Memorial Hospital during World War II. She was a foster parent for many years.

She was an avid reader and bingo player as well as a lover of animals.

She was a member of St. Michael the Archangel Roman Catholic Church.

She is survived by one daughter, Joyce C. Cicco of Mars; two foster daughters, Mrs. James (Mary Ann) Hamre of Georgia and Daveen Sparks, of Kansas City, Kan.; two sisters-in-law, Josephine Cornibe of Butler and Anna Nagy of Butler; one brother-in-law, Edward Reott and his wife, Gloria, of Butler; six grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Joseph F. Cicco, who passed away in 1940; her second husband, Francis J. Reott, who passed away in 1990; five brothers, George Cornibe, Robert Cornibe, Paul Cornibe, Rene Cornibe and Louis Cornibe; and four sisters, Martha Castilyn, Rose Malis, Olga Presco and Bertha Barickman

<B>REOTT</B> — Friends of Helen M. Reott, who died Tuesday, July 21, 2009, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday in the <B>Martin Funeral Home</B>, 429 Center Ave. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Michael the Archangel Roman Catholic Church. Burial will take place in the St. Michael Cemetery.The Bereavement Group of St. Michael the Archangel Parish will meet at 3 p.m. Friday at the funeral home to conduct a scriptural wake service.Information also is available at www.martinfh.net.
