BRADY TWP — Aghost story tour will be offered from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday and Friday at the Old Stone House at the intersection of Routes 8 and 173.

The event will feature a variety of ghost stories and skits throughout the house.

BUTLER TWP — A free informational event on inhalant abuse and methamphetamine will be held Thursday in the auditorium of the Butler Veterans Affairs Medical Center, 325 New Castle Road.The event will include resource tables from 6:30 to 9 p.m. Apresentation and question and answer session will be held from 7 to 8:30.The event is sponsored by the Bucks County Council on Alcoholism and Drug Dependence and the Butler County Drug and Alcohol Program.Party scheduled for recovering addictsCommunity Life Church will host a Harvest Party from noon to 3 p.m. Saturday for parents in recovery from addiction and their children.The party will be held at the Masonic Shelter at Alameda Park and will include games and prizes. WASHINGTON TWP — The Washington Township Volunteer Fire Department and Washington Township Memorial Park will host their annual Haunted House from 7 to 10 p.m. Friday through Sunday at the former Sherrett School House, Sherrett/Wattersonville Road.Admission is $5 for the haunted house and $2 per child to enter the pumpkin patch.Notices, in writing, of festivals, fundraising events, newly elected officers and other news from clubs and nonprofit groups should be sent to the Focus department one week in advance of the event.
