Olga “ Olly” Soley, 94, of Butler died Thursday at Butler Memorial Hospital.

She was born July 26, 1916, in Butler, a daughter of the late Joseph and Bertha Strepke Wooke.

Olga was a graduate of Butler High School and attended Butler Business School.

Olly was retired from the quality assurance department at Magnetics in East Butler. She worked there for more than 20 years, until her retirement in 1980. As a young lady during World War II, she worked in the Die & Tool Drafting department at the Pullman-Standard Car Co.

She was also a homemaker, mother and grandmother and was a member of St. John the Baptist Byzantine Catholic Church in Lyndora.

Her husband, John H. Soley, preceded her in death on Dec. 21, 1991. Two sisters and two brothers also preceded her in death.

She is survived by two daughters, Phyllis M. Webb of Hunting Valley, Ohio and Veronica E. Steinkirchner of Fox Chapel; three grandchildren, Amanda L. Webb, William J. Webb and Anastasia K. “Stacy” Steinkirchner; and several nieces and nephews.

<B>SOLEY</B> — Friends of Olga “Olly” Soley, who died Thursday, Nov. 11, 2010, will be received at the <B>GEIBEL FUNERAL HOME</B>, 201 E. Cunningham St., Butler, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday.Funeral Services will be held Monday at 11 a.m. from the funeral home with the Rev. Robert Oravetz, pastor of St. John the Baptist Byzantine Catholic Church, officiating.Interment will follow at the Rose Hill Cemetery.
