MARS — The Mars Public Library, 107 Grand Ave., has the following events slated for February:

- 4 to 7 p.m. today, Craft Night. Learn how to make book roses from used books. Materials will be provided. Register by calling 724-625-9048 or visiting cboland@bcfls.org;

- 11 a.m. Saturday, Pittsburgh Ballet Fundamentals (ages 3-7). This is a fun way to introduce your child to ballet basics. Register by calling 724-625-9048 or visiting cboland@bcfls.org;

- 1 to 2 p.m. (grades K to 2) 2 to 3 p.m. (grades 3 to 5). Feb. 17 Chocolate Olympics. This will be an hour filled with games all related to chocolate. Register by calling 724-625-9048 or visiting cboland@bcfls.org;

- 5 to 6 p.m. Feb. 22, Pudding Pictionary — Teen Event. Challenge yourself and have fun with this classic game with a new twist. Register by calling 724-625-9048 or visiting cboland@bcfls.org;

- 7 to 8:30 p.m. Feb. 22, Equine Emergency Critical Care. All ages welcome. Dr. Alexis Baney will present this program on Equine Emergency Critical Care. Register by calling 724-625-9048.

[naviga:h3]Paying for college seminar slated[/naviga:h3]

SAXONBURG — Thinking about college? Are you wondering how to pay for it? Come to a free seminar, “Going to College without Going Broke,” at 7 p.m. Feb. 15 in Centennial Hall, 110 State St., on the grounds of St. Luke’s Lutheran Church.

Beverly Miller, a Ramsey Solutions master financial coach and a board member of St. Luke’s Fellowship for Christian Stewardship will be the presenter.
