Hayden

Nancy Lee (Bromley) Hayden, 93, of Enon Valley, Pa., passed away on Wednesday, May 24, 2023, in Celebration Villa of Chippewa.

Born Oct. 3, 1929, in Salisbury, Md., she was the daughter of the late George (Rex) and Mabel (Brimer) Bromley.

Nancy (Mom) loved animals, being outside, helping others and, most of all, spending time with family. Raised in a tiny town of Stockton on the Eastern Shore of Maryland, she was drawn to the water, the country, crab cakes and oysters! She was a particularly creative and talented craftswoman, a dedicated nurse, a horsewoman, a lover of country music and a provider. She raised five children, demonstrating perseverance, love and commitment. She impacted many lives and will be dearly missed.

She is survived by her two sons, Gary R. Hayden (Marion) and Guy B. Hayden; her two daughters, Heather (Brian) Linzmeier and Holly (William) Corbett; three grandchildren, Gary Lee (Patty), Brenton (Ashlee) and Jordan; two great-grandchildren, Rylee and Luke; her sister, Janet (Harold) Shockley; her brother, George (Shirley) Bromley; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, John Gregg Hayden; a brother, Samuel Bromley; and a sister, Mary Frances Bromley.

A special thank you to Gateway Hospice, particularly Katrina, Judy, Jennifer and Chaplain Wayne. You made a huge difference in Nancy’s life and always had her best interest in mind.

HAYDEN — Friends of Nancy Lee (Bromley) Hayden, who died Wednesday, May 24, 2023, will be received from 11 a.m. until the time of services at noon Tuesday at GABAUER FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, 1133 Penn Ave., New Brighton. Pastor Allan Brooks will officiate.

Interment will follow in Pinewood Cemetery, Cranberry Township.
