Thursday — Police filed bad check charges against Stephanie Caccamo, 23, and James Baumann, 26, both of Butler. Caccamo in April allegedly passed a bad check for $109.50 to A Notary on North Main Street; Baumann in April allegedly passed two bad checks totaling $130.17 to Friedman's on West Brady Street.

5:50 p.m. Thursday — A sport utility vehicle driven by Correne Frampton, no age given, of Slippery Rock collided with a car at Route 308 and Branchton Road in Cherry Township. Frampton suffered minor injuries. A17-year-old Boyers boy, who police did not identify, was driving the car.1:01 a.m. Thursday — James Harbison, 50, of Wexford was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence on Route 8 in Penn Township.Wednesday — Eight construction flags, two sign holders and two "Road Closed" signs were stolen between 10:30 p.m. Tuesday and 6:30 a.m. Wednesday from a construction site at Spring Run Road and Glennwood Way in Center Township. The township owns the stolen property.11 p.m. Tuesday — An unknown man reportedly stole a 1980 Yamaha XS 600 motorcycle from the home of James Nagel on Lake Arthur Drive in Muddy Creek Township. The thief is described as white with a medium build and shoulder-length hair.3:15 p.m. Monday — Seth Nicholson, no age given, of Slippery Rock swerved his car to avoid another vehicle in his lane, and struck a tree along Mt. Union Road in Worth Township.1:57 a.m. June 3 — Leslie Wheeler, no age given, of West Sunbury was arrested for suspicion of DUI while driving on Claytonia Road in Clay Township.

4:02 p.m. Wednesday — Two people riding in the open bed of a pickup were injured, one seriously, when the truck crashed and overturned on Olean Road in Madison Township, Armstrong County.Missy Bish, 21, of Kittanning and a boy, who police did not identify, were thrown out of the pickup bed in the crash that occurred when the truck struck an embankment and rolled on its side.Bish, who landed on the road, was flown by medical helicopter to Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh; her condition was not known this morning.The boy riding in the truck bed suffered minor injuries; Loretta McCoy, 23, of Templeton, who was driving the pickup, and another boy riding in the front seat, also suffered minor injuries.McCoy and the two boys were treated for injuries at ACMH HospitalHospital in Kittanning, and released.10:25 a.m. Monday — Alyce Hunter, 78, was accidentally shot in the right leg when she knocked a .22-caliber revolver off a shelf at her Robinson Place home in Bradys Bend Township, Armstrong County.The gun discharged when it hit the floor. The bullet went through Hunter's leg and hit a nearby cabinet. Hunter was home alone but was able to call 911. She was taken to ACMH Hospital Hospital in Kittanning and transferred to Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh. Her condition was not known this morning.7:14 a.m. Sunday — A car driven by April Mae McDonald, 32, of Templeton crashed over an embankment on Route 28 in North Buffalo Township, Armstrong County. McDonald was treated for unknown injuries at ACMH Hospitalin Kittanning.
