Helen Szura, 90, formerly of McKees Rocks, died Friday at Good Samaritan Hospice at Concordia.

Born Dec. 8, 1918, she was the daughter of John Jumba and Susan Mihalyo.

She was a homemaker.

She was the beloved wife of Walter; the mother of Judy and her husband, Howard, Turner, Carol and her husband, Phil, Reilly, Peter and his wife, Elaine, Szura, and Dave and his wife, Sue, Szura; the grandmother of eight; the great-grandmother of five; the sister of Marilee Zarzeczny, John Jumba, Irene Williams, the late Marge Rudzik and the late Mike Jumba; and an aunt to many nieces and nephews.

<B>SZURA</B> — There will be no visitation for Helen Szura, who died Friday, July 31, 2009.A funeral service was to be held at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 1, at the <B>Valerian F. Szal Funeral Home</B>, 238 Helen St., McKees Rocks.That was to be followed by a Christian burial at 10 a.m. at Holy Ghost Byzantine Catholic Church, 225 Olivia St., McKees Rocks, with Father Ron Larko officiating.
