Albert and Brenda Heider celebrated 40 years of marriage recently with a trip to Niagara Falls, Canada.

The former Brenda Sheppeck married Heider on Aug. 21, 1965, at St. Michael's Ukrainian Catholic Church in Lyndora.

They have four children, Diana Matteoni and Feller Heider, both of Butler; Carrie Catalano of Wexford; and Mindy Heasley of Erie.

They also have six grandchildren.

Heider is a retired electrician from I.B.E.W. Local 10.

Mrs. Heider works for United Cerebral Palsy.

The couple belongs to St. Michael's Ukrainian Catholic Church.
