The Schnurs in 1952

Willis and Kathryn “Babs” Schnur will celebrate 60 years of marriage with a family picnic.

Schnur married the former Kathryn Kuciak on June 21, 1952, at St. Peter’s Catholic Church.

They have five children, James Schnur, Barbara Massella, Anna Angert, Jerome Schnur and Marlene Thomas, all of Butler.

They also have eight grandchildren and one step-grandchild.

The Schnurs owned and operated Schnur’s Greenhouse for 50 years. They are also members of St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church in Herman.

Schnur is a member of the Herman R.C. Men’s Club, East Butler Firemen’s Club and American Legion Post 117.

Mrs. Schnur is a member of St. Mary’s Christian Mothers.
