Harry and Nadine Mottern of Chicora celebrated 50 years of marriage recently with a dinner at The Fieldhouse restaurant in Cabot.

The former Nadine Daller married Mottern on Nov. 30, 1957, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Butler.

They have three children, Kevin Mottern of Butler, Danny Mottern of Chicora and April Mottern of Fenelton.

They also have two grandchildren.

Mottern is retired from Pennsylvania American Water. He belongs to the East Butler Fireman's Club.

Mrs. Mottern is a homemaker.

The Motterns are members of North Butler Presbyterian Church. They also belong to the Moose Lodge of Chicora.
