Falcon Knights travel to Cameron County Thursday
Union/A-C Valley's football team will look to extend its winning streak to six games when the Falcon Knights travel to face Cameron County Thursday for a 7 p.m. kickoff.
Since losing its season-opener to Brockway, Union/A-C Valley (5-1) has not lost while outscoring its opponents 227-32. Included in the winning streak is last week's 26-24 win at previously unbeaten Keystone.
The team features a powerful ground game, led by junior Mike Card (57 carries for 521 yards and four touchdowns) and sophomore Dawson Camper (36-362-8).
Skyler Roxbury has six of the Falcon Knights' 13 interceptions on defense.
Cameron County (4-2) was defeated at home last week by Smethport, 28-0. The Raiders' four wins have come against teams with a combined record of 5-19.
Cameron County sophomore quarterback Maddox Baughman has passed for 737 yards with eight touchdowns and 12 interceptions. His top targets are Lathan Reed (nine receptions for 252 yards and three touchdowns) and Dylan Baney (9-209-4).
