CRANBERRY TWP — Two separate two-hour nature discovery sessions for children ages 6 to 10 will be offered on Saturday and Oct. 5 in Cranberry Township's Community Park.The classes will be led by Heather Jerry, who has worked as a director of parks and recreation for more than 10 years.The first session, “Senses,” will be to help participants increase their awareness of the world around them. TITUSVILLE — Drake Well Museum and Park will host the 29th annual Fall Gas Up, sponsored by the Pioneer Steam and Gas Engine Society, on Saturday.Displays will include antique engines, farm and oil field equipment, cars, trucks and models. The museum’s Olin gas engine and pumping wells along with its Oil City Boiler Works engine also will be in operation.The Gas Up will take place from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and is included in the museum’s regular admission fees of $10 for ages 12 to 64, $8 for age 65 and older, and $5 for ages 3 to 11.For information, call 814-827-2797.
