2:43 a.m. today — Patricia Brown, 42, of Center Township was arrested for driving under the influence and careless driving at McKean and Pearl streets.1:40 p.m. Sunday— Deanna Wilson, 39, of Butler was arrested for DUI on West Cunningham Street. She was also cited for unauthorized use of a vehicle and driving with a suspended license.2:18 a.m. Saturday — William Blust Jr., 46, of Butler was arrested for DUIon Route 8 South. He was also cited for disregarding traffic lanes, not stopping at a red light and a turning violation.2:15 a.m. Saturday — Several power tools including saws and drills, valued at $700, were taken from a van parked on East Penn Street. John Benko of Lyndora owns the stolen property.1:25 a.m. Saturday — Jennifer Taciuch, 35, of Chicora was arrested for DUI on South Monroe Street. She was also cited for driving with a suspended license and without insurance.
4:30 a.m. Sunday — Acar driven by Erin Brownstein, 22, of Pittsburgh struck a guardrail on Interstate 79 in Jackson Township. Police said the crash occurred as Brownstein was driving home and she fell asleep.7:10 a.m. Friday — Cars driven by Nelle Stahura, 21, and Joshua Snyder, 18, both of Butler, collided at Route 68 and Eagle Mill Road in Connoquenessing Township. The collision forced Snyder's car into a car driven by James Anderson, 28, of Butler.Thursday — ADynapac tamper valued at $2,450 was taken between 4:30 p.m. Wednesday and 7 a.m. Thursday from a work trailer at a construction site at Brandywine Village in Connoquenessing Township. Commercial Building Corp. of Mars owns the stolen property.2:10 a.m. Wednesday — Scot C. Wallace, age unavailable, of Prospect was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence after police responded to a disturbance call at the Eat 'n Park off Route 8 in Center Township.State Police, MercerThursday — Kimberly Marie Hensel, 31, of Sandy Lake was arrested for allegedly stealing a Grove City area woman's wedding band and two other gold rings.Hensel is accused of taking the jewelry, owned by Nancy Norris, from Norris' home on Clintonville Road in Pine Township, Mercer County. The theft occurred between June 29 and July 23.Hensel became a suspect in the theft after she showed up at Norris' workplace wearing one of the stolen rings. Police recovered the ring; however, the two other rings are still missing.Hensel was arraigned on three counts each of theft and receiving stolen. She is free on $10,000 unsecured bond.July 26 — About $90 in currency and coins was taken between 12:15 and 8 a.m. from an unlocked vehicle on Route 258 in Liberty Township, Mercer County, about one-half mile from the Butler County line. Charles McGuire of Slippery Rock owns the stolen property.
2:09 a.m. Aug. 6 — Mark Thompson, 35, of Sarver was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence following a traffic stop on Route 28 in Fawn Township, Allegheny County.
