The Meridian Lanes Junior Division boys and Sherwood Lanes Junior Division girls won state championships in June 1977 at Wilkes Baree. At front are three members of the Sherwood team, from left, Cindy Polanec, Donna Wulff and Tammy Massart. Missing are Anette Marchuk and Donna Percy. They posted a 2,206 scratch series in winning. Standing from the left, is the Meridian entry that rolled a 2,878 handicap, from left, Tom Fry, Troy Strezeski, Dana Brown, Don Pringle and Kevin Goldscheitter. Fry had a 624 scratch triple.
