5:17 a.m. Wednesday - A tractor-trailer driven by James Zwjjacz, 43, of Suamico, Wis., struck a traffic sign on East Jefferson Street and a barrier pole at the Snack-N-Pack parking lot.4:20 a.m. Wednesday - David Sykes. 47. Of 401 N. Washington St. was arrested for allegedly assaulting his daughter, Heather Sykes, 23, during a dispute at her West New Castle Street apartment. He was arraigned on charges of simple assault and public drunkenness, and placed in the Butler County Prison in lieu of $2,000 bond.11:44 p.m. Tuesday - Randy Webb, 34, of 107 S. Ninth Ave. was arrested for allegedly assaulting Cynthia Hindman, 30, during a dispute at her South Ninth Avenue home. He was arraigned for simple assault and is free on recognizance bond.
Tuesday - Rick Kilgore, 41, of Butler, wanted by Ohio authorities as a fugitive, was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence after allegedly running a red light at Freeport and Saxonburg roads.Police said in addition to a fugitive from justice charge, DUI and the red light violation, Kilgore was arrested for providing false information to law enforcement authorities and driving without a license.Kilgore is the Butler County Prison pending extradition to Ohio.
10:36 p.m. Wednesday - Debbie Lamb, 38, of Brady Township was arrested for drunk driving and ramming her car into two vehicles and a house on Turk Road in Brady Township.Police said Lamb about 10 p.m. drove home with Joseph Hinchberger, 48, of Brady Township from a Butler Township bar. The two argued during which Hinchberger allegedly slapped Lamb in the face.Lamb left her home, got into her car, deliberately struck two vehicles she owns that were parked in her driveway, and nearly ran over Hinchberger. She also rammed her car into a house owned by Victor Kennedy of Clay Township.Police said Lamb got out of her car and walked away with her two daughters. Troopers arrested her on Route 8 and found to be intoxicated. She was arraigned on charges of reckless endangerment, driving under the influence, criminal mischief and public drunkenness. Hinchberger was cited for harassment.10:30 p.m. Wednesday - Apryl Jones, 24, of Slippery Rock, was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence after her car veered off the right side of the road, then crossed over both lanes and struck a guardrail. Jones, who was wearing a seatbelt, suffered minor injuries.3:10 p.m. Tuesday - Rachelle Burgard, 18, of Butler is accused of throwing a cup at Brian Powers, 19, of Butler during an argument at a North Main Street home in Center Township.The cup struck Powers in the mouth, splitting his lower lip and causing minor injuries to his chest and arms. Burgard was arraigned on charges of simple assault and harassment, and placed in the Butler County Prison in lieu of $1,000 bond.8:25 a.m. Friday - A car driven by Brooke Patterson, 28, of New Castle struck a tree along Route 108 in Slippery Rock Township. Patterson, who was wearing a seatbelt, was taken with moderate injuries to United Community Hospital in Grove City.Police said the crash occurred after Patterson "was apparently effected by a physical condition," causing her to lose control of her car.May 9 - A decorate candle valued at $475 was reportedly taken from a tombstone at the Eau Claire Cemetery in Venango Township. The theft occurred between May 1 and 9.
5:05 p.m. May 10 - A car driven by Robert Sallmen, 47, of Pulaski struck the rear of a car, driven by Margaret Thompson, 42, of Mercer, on Route 58 in Pine Township, Mercer County. The crash pushed Thompson's vehicle into the rear of a car driven by Tracey Rodemoyer, 23, of Greenville. Thompson, who was wearing a seatbelt, suffered minor injuries.
