Raiders topple host Centurions in season opener

Raiders Tina Mangola scored 13 points and Val Johnson added 12 to help the Seneca Valley girls basketball team defeat Greensburg Central Catholic 63-49 in the first round of the Franklin Tournament Friday in a mutual season opener.

Chelsey Pavlick chipped in with 10 points and Kelsey Spencer and Ashley Turici had nine points each for the Raiders.

Maggie Gibson had 21 points to lead the Centurions.
