Delores L. Hamilton

Delores L. Hamilton, 80, of Butler, formerly of Portersville, died Saturday at Concordia Good Samaritan Hospice, Cabot.

Born Nov. 3, 1932, in East Brady, she was the daughter of Delmar W. and Mary Lou E. (Brothers) Greenawalt.

On June 14, 1951, she married Samuel L. Hamilton, and he survives.

Delores worked for Bobbi Brooks in Butler as a seamstress and at a local dry cleaners. She enjoyed crocheting and sewing. Above all, she was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

Surviving are her husband, Samuel L. Hamilton of Butler; one daughter, Linda Riemer and her husband, Philip, of Butler; one son, Stephen Hamilton and his wife, Dorothy, of Slippery Rock; one granddaughter, Amber Hart and her husband, Harold Jr., of Uniontown; three grandsons, Samuel Riemer of Butler, Scott Riemer of New Castle and Jeremy Hamilton of Slippery Rock; and two great-grandsons, Joshua Hart of Uniontown and Harold Hart III of Uniontown. Delores is also survived by one sister, Betty Lou Bratkovich of Karns City.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two sons, an infant, Samuel, and Samuel L. Hamilton Jr.; and one brother, Delmar “Ted” Greenawalt.

HAMILTON — Friends of Delores L. Hamilton, who died Saturday, Dec. 15, 2012, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Charles B. Buechele Funeral Home, 105 Fourth St., East Brady.Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with the Rev.
