Tuesday — Dawn Cramer, 35, of Butler reported someone stealing front windows, a winch and speakers from her Jeep while it was parked in her yard on Eagle Mill Road in Connoquenessing Township between 6 a.m. and noon. Shocks also were take from her porch.10:15 p.m. Monday — David Heidenreich, 19, of Butler was arrested for possession of a small amount of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia after an equipment violation stop on Route 8 in Center Township.Monday — Eloina Smith, 55, of Butler reported a theft by deception in which someone accessed Smith's PayPal account between Thursday and Monday following receipt and response to a "phishing" e-mail. Police remind people receiving e-mails requesting updated personal information should treat them as scams and contact the actual company by telephone for verification.Monday — Smardt Equipment of Prospect reported the theft of a New Holland tractor/backhoe from its Route 422 site between Sunday and Monday. Entry into the fenced area was gained by cutting a lock.Sunday — Bryan Hartman, 38, of Renfrew reported the theft of 50 gray Asian pears from a tree in his yard at 1168 Evans City Road in Connoquenessing Township between noon Saturday and 1 p.m. Sunday. Anyone with information about the theft should call state police at 724-284-8100.6:50 a.m. Thursday — A van driven by Peter Russell, 31, of Rayland, Ohio, struck the rear of a pickup truck driven by Timothy Milligan, 60, of Freedom, Pa., that was stopped on Interstate 79 in Jackson Township. Russell's three passengers, William Brown, 36, also of Rayland, Brent Helms, 34, of Tiltonsville, Ohio, and Shannon Phillips, 35, of Martin's Ferry, Ohio, received minor injuries. All three passengers were wearing seat belts. Russell and Milligan were not injured.

Tuesday — Ray L. Lenkner Jr. of Grove City reported someone damaged his motor home and boat while they were sitting in his driveway at 819 N. Broad St. Ext. in Pine Township, Mercer County, between Sept. 13 and 19. Anyone with information about the incident should call state police at 724-662-6162.

4:15 p.m. Tuesday — An SUV driven by Linda Holliday, 46, of Emlenton was traveling on Route 68 in Toby Township, Clarion County, when it swerved to avoid another vehicle and hit a utility pole.
