Butler County residents can attend two stroke and osteoporosis screenings, one in Butler and another in Chicora.

The first screening is Aug. 26 at Sheryl Buffington's Daycare & Preschool Palace, 120 Sunset Drive. The second is Sept. 6 at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 2217 Chicora Road, Chicora.

Physicians from Life Line Screening will assess patients' risk of cardiovascular conditions or osteoporosis.

All screenings take 60 to 90 minutes.
