Tynan

Matthew Joseph Tynan, 38, of West Pearl Street died Wednesday at his home.

Born Dec. 18, 1968, in Butler, he was the son of Kenneth R. Tynan Sr. and Marilyn J. Graham Tynan.

He was a salesman for Irwin Building Supply and B&B Auto Sales. He also did the color commentary for Butler High School Football on WBUT radio.

Mr. Tynan was a 1987 alumnus of BHS and was active in Butler sports most of his life.

Surviving are his father and his mother, both of Butler; his fiancée, Meagan Cavanaugh of Butler; two brothers, Kenneth Tynan Jr. of Des Moines, Iowa, and Casey J. Tynan of Butler; two sisters, Jennifer Strobel of Butler and Mrs. Lance (Susan) Cox of Olive Branch, Miss.; four nephews; and a niece.

A brother preceded him in death.

<B>TYNAN </B>— Friends of Matthew Joseph Tynan, who died Wednesday, April 11, 2007, will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the <B>Thompson-Miller Funeral Home</B>, 124 E. North St. A blessing service will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at the funeral home with the Re. Harry Bielewicz officiating.
