Trinity Living Center
This past year was another successful and exciting year at Trinity Living Center, a multi-level health care facility in Grove City.
In 2005, Trinity Living Center cheered along with the rest of Western Pennsylvania as the Steelers drove for their fifth Super Bowl title by holding several pep rallies and parties enjoyed by staff and residents. In fact, the most recent pep rally for the Super Bowl was attended by members of the Grove City High School band, football team and cheerleading squad.
This past year also marked the second year of the TLC Rocks program. Residents earned several hundred dollars rocking in their chairs for the American Heart Association during this day long event. Residents spent the day "rocking out to great oldies music" and earned money through sponsorships from Trinity Living Center employees, businesses and residents.
Trinity Living Center also improved several areas of the facility this past year. The outside brick of the 1922 building which houses Pavilion Suites was pointed and cleaned. The gravel portion of the parking lot was paved while tile and plumbing renovations to both of the central shower areas on the second and third floor were completed. Also, all of the resident's room doors were refinished or replaced.
The upcoming year should continue to be a fun and productive time for staff and residents. Plans are for a blood drive, several more renovation projects, the continuation of the "Dream A Little Dream" program for residents and the TLC Rocks fundraiser.
Trinity Living Center also remains committed to reaching out to Grove City citizens with more community involvement and programs that will be announced soon.
