Boil water advisory issued for residents in Harmony Borough

A boil water advisory has been issued for Harmony Borough by the local water authority.

According to a press release, a break occurred on Sept. 2, 2021 near the intersection of Nickle Road and Meadowbrook Lane

All Harmony Borough Water Authority customers located to the east of Interstate 79 and on Meadowbrook Lane, Precision Drive, Evergreen Mill Road, Smith Avenue, Hartmann Road, Senns Way, Evans City Road and Wahl Road are affected by this advisory.

The leak is currently being repaired, the press release said.

Until the boil water advisory is removed, affected residents should use bottled water or bring all water to a rolling boil, let it boil for one minute and let it cool before using.
