OLDENBURG, Germany — Marco Huck, the WBO cruiserweight champion, vows to make Butler's Brian Minto pay for spoiling fellow German boxer Axel Schulz's comeback a few years ago.

The two fighters came face to face during a midweek news conference before their title bout Saturday.

"I was a big fan of (Schulz) and I really wanted to see him fight again, but Minto spoiled his comeback," Huck said. "Now I will make him pay big time.

"I never underestimate any opponent, but Minto will not be leaving with my title, you can be sure of that."

The Minto-Huck fight will not be televised live in the United States. It will be available Wednesday as an online pay-per-view for $12 at www.NESportsTV.com or at www.Mintofight.com.

BUTLER TWP — The Butler High swimming and diving team presented awards recently at its banquet.Heath Calhoun and Matt Goettler were co-MVPs for the boys team, while Brittney Grenet and Brianna Keelan received the award for the girls team. Calhoun and Grenet also won top performance diving awards.The Mary Ann Napora Academic Excellence Award went to Alexa Kriley, the Steven Napora Academic Excellence Award to Alex Bauer.Parker Campbell, Katie Pflugh and Makenzie Walker won most dedicated diving honors; Katie Herr took the Tough as Nails Award; Travis Myers and Jordan McElhaney received the Hustle Award, and Bauer and Renee Clouse won the Coaches Awards.
