Cranberry’s York scores horse win

WASHINGTON, Pa. — Annapolis Hanover, one of harness racing’s most successful 2-year-old, scored the initial win of his sophomore campaign for owner/trainer Mitchell York of Cranberry Township during harness racing action Saturday at Hollywood Casino at The Meadows.

He captured a $13,600 Conditioned Pace in 1:51.2, lifting his career bankroll to $240,840.

Pirates make trade with Blue Jays

PITTSBURGH — The Pittsburgh Prates have traded catcher Tyler Heineman to the Toronto Blue Jays for infielder Vinny Capra.

Capra, 26, hit .283 with five homers and 28 RBI for Class AAA Buffalo last season. Splitting time between Class AAA and AA in 2021, he hit .316 with 10 homers and 52 RBI.
