Red Barn Theatre to present comedy 'Subject to Change'

FRANKLIN TWP, Beaver County — The Red Barn Players will present the comedy "Subject to Change" for nine performances starting Friday.

The show, written by Jules E. Tasca, is directed by Hazel Zimmerman of New Brighton.

"Subject to Change" is a comedy about the Basset sisters who have lived together all their lives and are polar opposites. Gertrude is conservative, capable and hardworking while Madeline is rude, sloppy and lazy. As Gertrude approaches retirement age, she suddenly decides to marry, leaving Madeline to fend for herself. Naturally, chaos ensues in Madeline's crazy battle to keep Gertrude all to herself.

Cast members are Tom Call of Renfrew; Lorrie Ghering and Beth Wilson, both of Zelienople; Karen Kern of New Castle; Ron Romeo of Chippewa, and Toniaray Digiacomo of Gibsonia.

Performances are set for 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday and Aug. 21 to 23, and 27 to 30 at the Red Barn Theatre on Ellwood-Zelienople Road, Route 288.
