Actions and words
The saying “actions speak louder than words” conversely can be said “words result in actions.” Words can be used to praise, or condemn, while falsehoods cause disruption both in thoughts and in actions. With today’s extensive social media, words alone can generate positive or negative results.
Positive actions — such as building a border wall, opening up our energy reserves, bringing down inflation, showing strength with foreign entities and personally responding to questions — show that actions are now perceived to be stronger than words.
To use words such as “unity and equity” with false coverage seems to only further divide our nation along lines of race, gender, education and earning power. “Think before you speak” is another appropriate saying from the past.
