Bertram

Ralph David Bertram, 75, of East Brady died Thursday at his home.

Born July 1, 1933, in Greenville, he was the son of Ralph H. and Delma F. (Myers) Bertram.

He was a 1951 graduate of Cambridge Springs High School and a 1955 graduate of Edinboro State College.

He taught art in the East Brady Elementary and East Brady High School for 30 years.

Mr. Bertram enjoyed Bible study, woodworking and sharing time with his grandchildren.

He was a member of the Christian and Missionary Alliance Church of East Brady, where he taught Bible studies.

Surviving are his wife, Ethel F. (Fuller) Bertram of East Brady, whom he married in 1961; two daughters, Janet Saitherwaite of Indianapolis, and Sally Saunders and her husband, Thomas, of Tucson, Ariz.; a son, Scott Bertram and his wife, Danielle, of Connoquenessing; a brother, Donald Bertram of Jacksonville, Fla.; eight grandchildren, Josh, Erika, Andrew and Ben Saitherwaite, Jake and Zach Saunders, and Skye and Natalya Bertram

<B>BERTRAM </B>— Friends of Ralph David Bertram, who died Thursday, Feb. 19, 2009, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the <B>Charles B. Buechele Funeral Home</B>, 105 Fourth St., East Brady. The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Christian and Missionary Alliance Church, East Brady. The Rev. Peter Sears, pastor of the Christian and Missionary Alliance Church of East Brady, will officiate.
