Sadie E. Miller, 83, of College View Towers in Grove City died Friday at her home. She formerly lived in New Hope, Pa.

Sadie was born in Cherry Township on Sept. 4, 1928, a daughter of Jessie S. Ritenour and Nellie M. (Moyer) Ritenour McCandless, who are deceased.

She was a nursing assistant at the Grove City Medical Center, Grove City, until she retired in April 1993 after 23 years.

She was a member of the Calvary Orthodox Presbyterian Church in Harrisville.

Sadie was married to Lawrence C. Miller on Aug. 4, 1956, and he died June 17, 1989.

She is survived by one brother, Oliver L. Ritenour of East Brady; one stepsister, Norma Sabin of Harrisville and her husband, Frank; and several nieces and nephews.

She also was preceded in death by three sisters, one brother, and one stepsister.
