Welling, 35, of Cabot was charged with retail theft, receiving stolen property and disorderly conduct following an incident at the BiLo at Point Plaza.2:52 a.m. Monday — David Spero Keffalas, 55, of Butler was charged with resisting arrest and defiant trespass on a private drive off McCalmont Road after being cited earlier in the night for trespassing on the same property. He was jailed in Butler County Prison on a $75,000 bond.

10:45 p.m. Tuesday — A motorcycle driven by Neal Galore, 46, of Butler struck the pavement on Mars-Evans City Road in Forward Township and slid off the road. Galore, who was wearing a helmet, was treated at Butler Memorial Hospital for a shoulder injury. He told police the accident occurred when he swerved to avoid a small animal running across the road.Sunday — Someone stole an unspecified piece of jewelry from the Clay Township residence of Karl Klein, 72, on Mizener Lane between Sept. 14 and 23.7:55 a.m. Saturday — Christopher Shayne Bowser, 21, of Slippery Rock was charged with resisting arrest, public drunkenness and disorderly conduct after an incident that occurred when police woke him up upon finding him passed out in a Moraine Drive yard in Lake Arthur Estates, Muddy Creek Township.10 p.m. Thursday — A pickup truck driven by Honey Walsh, 35, of Slippery Rock struck an embankment off Unity Road in Marion Township. She was wearing a seat belt and received minor injuries. She faces multiple traffic citations after allegedly fleeing the scene.Thursday — Someone threw an ear of corn at Brenda Loos' vehicle while it was parked at 1404 Hooker Road in Fairview Township, breaking out three signal lights between 9 p.m. Wednesday and 9 a.m. Thursday.2:50 p.m. Aug. 26 — Melissa Anne Panei, 20, of Portersville was charged with possession of heroin and possession of drug paraphernalia after police responded to a drug overdose call to 101 Robbie Way in Lake Arthur Estates, Muddy Creek Township.

10:30 p.m. Monday — A pickup truck driven by Mark Guntrum, 44, of Rimersburg failed to stop at the Cherry Run Road and Carr Street intersection in Toby Township and crashed into a wooded area. He was wearing a seat belt and was not injured. Guntrum faces multiple charges after fleeing the scene and failing to notify police.Sept. 13 — Someone stole $650 in cash from a metal lock box from the Monterey Road residence of David Fauzey, 66, in Madison Township between 9 a.m. July 20 and Sept. 13.

2:30 a.m. Monday — A car driven by Brian Cartwright, age unavailable, hit a ditch and a tree off Route 108 in Scott Township. He was not wearing a seat belt but was not injured. He was charged with driving under the influence.11:50 p.m. Friday — A pickup truck driven by Amanda Davies, age unavailable, of Slippery Rock swerved to miss a deer on Route 168 in Taylor Township and hit an embankment. Davies, who was wearing a seat belt, received moderate injuries. Her passenger, Robert McCandless, age unavailable, was not wearing a seat belt and received minor injuries.Sept. 16 — Someone stole a furnace under a tarp in Loreen Smith's Duncan Lane driveway in Perry Township between Sept. 10 and 16.
