11:15 p.m. Wednesday — Patricia Ann Brown, 42, of Butler was charged with driving under the influence following a traffic stop on North Main Street Extension.1:18 p.m. Wednesday — A bicycle ridden by Michael Kavanagh, 25, of Butler and an SUV driven by Kristine Eichenlaub, 34, of Butler collided on New Castle Road. Kavanagh received minor injuries and refused medical treatment. Eichenlaub was not injured.12:12 p.m. Sunday — Township police are investigating a purse theft that occurred at the Wal-Mart in Butler Commons. The blue Coach bag with a shoulder strap was taken from a woman's shopping cart. An undisclosed amount of cash and items were inside the purse. Anyone with information about the theft should call police at 724-285-9600.

5:35 p.m. Thursday — Carl J. Devore, 58, 115 Harris Road will receive a citation for failing to stop at the intersection of Great Belt and Bonnie Brook roads in Jefferson Township. Devore's car was hit by a car driven by Elizabeth M. Logan, 77, of Cabot, who was traveling south on Bonnie Brook Road. No one was hurt.12:21 a.m. Thursday — A 17-year-old boy was arrested for underage drinking at Grant Avenue and Bonniebrook Road in Summit Township.Thursday — Ronald Micco of Forestville, Mercer Township, reported someone cut a window in his home with a sharp instrument.6 a.m. Wednesday — Gerald William Bisson Jr. of Parker reported that the windshield of his car was damaged while on Slater Road near Route 58 in Allegheny Township. Damage is estimated at $300.10 a.m. Monday — Burton Duerring of Beaver Dam Road, Clay Township, reported that someone damaged his mailbox.10:05 p.m. Sunday — Kristen Lee Deal, 18, of 129 Carrington Ave., hit a rock and a tree with a car owned by Frank Deal, of the same address, after leaving the road on Route 108 near Christley Road in Slippery Rock Township. Deal said she overcorrected the car, crossed both lanes and hit the rock and tree. Passenger Nathanial Teske, 19, of Slippery Rock suffered moderate injuries. Deal was cited for the accident.Saturday — Eddie Stewart of Hilliards reported someone took 20 sheets of plywood from 266 Higgins Road in Venango Township. The sheets are valued at $500.

12:45 a.m. Sunday — Mark Guntrum, 43, of Sligo was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence after his vehicle wrecked into a fence at the corner of Madison and Front streets.

2:45 a.m. Thursday — John Dontay Coulter, 21, of Worthington was stopped on Route 28 about 2 miles south of Route 422 for an expired registration plate. During the stop police found Coulter had a suspended license and appeared to be intoxicated. A blood-alcohol test at ACMH Hospital found that he was over the legal limit with .08 percent. Charges will be filed.8:16 p.m. Wednesday — Justin Kronen, 23, of Kittanning reported receiving numerous harassing text messages from a residence in East Franklin Township.1:15 a.m. Monday — Shawn Shaffer of Kittanning reported that someone took his 2000 Chrysler Concorde from the parking lot of The Inn in North Buffalo Township.
