4:59 p.m. Wednesday - A pickup truck driven by Timothy Foringer, 25, of Karns City and a car driven by Tanya Opitz, 19, of Stoneboro, Mercer County, collided at North Monroe and East Brady streets. Opitz was taken with minor injuries to Butler Memorial Hospital.

12:01 a.m. Wednesday - Daniel Slupe, 30, of Portersville was arrested for driving under the influence after his vehicle crashed at Route 422 and Greenwood Drive. In addition to DUI, Slupe is charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, reckless driving, careless driving and driving too fast for conditions.

Tuesday - Someone between 7:30 and 10 p.m. vandalized a car parked at the Ice Connection rink on Route 8. The car, owned by Andrew Regrut of Saxonburg, had damage to its hood, body and windshield caused by rocks thrown at the vehicle.Feb. 27 - Several items, including an Oriental rug and ceramic dishes, were taken from the Wagon Wheel Antiques store on Route 8. The stolen property is valued at an estimated $500.Feb. 24 - A large amount of scrap metal was taken from Groff Equipment on Route 8.

1:20 p.m. Wednesday - Tommee Moffatt, 38, of Harmony was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence after his pickup truck struck the rear of a sport utility vehicle on Route 19 in Muddy Creek Township. Andrew Meyer, 18, of Harmony was driving the SUV.10:30 p.m. Tuesday - A sport utility vehicle driven by Ronald Bowser, 63, of Summit Township struck a landscaping stone along Hinchberger Road in Summit Township. Bowser suffered minor facial cuts in the crash.12:15 p.m. Tuesday - Charles Grounds said two Smith & Wesson handguns were taken from his Oneida Valley Road home in Center Township.2:40 a.m. Saturday - Matthew Gibson, 31, of Chicora was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence after his sport utility vehicle struck an embankment and rolled onto its side along Route 68 in Chicora. Police said Gibson fled the scene after the crash.2:10 p.m. Friday - James Niederriter, 42, of Butler was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence on Route 8 in Butler Township.

1:30 a.m. today - Vonnie Short, 24, of Rimersburg, was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence after her car struck a culvert and rolled onto its roof along Route 66 in Limestone Township, Clarion County.Short was flown by medical helicopter with unknown injuries to a Pittsburgh hospital. Clayton Neiswonger, no age given, of New Bethlehem, a passenger in the car, was taken with undisclosed injuries to Clarion Hospital. Police said neither occupant was wearing a seat belt.Wednesday - Police reported someone burglarized the Perry Township, Clarion County camp owned by a Butler woman, and took a Smith & Wesson bolt-action rifle with scope and a steel climbing tree stand.Owner Beverly McAnnallen said the burglary occurred between Oct. 3 and Dec. 13. The stolen property is valued at $900.

9 a.m. Tuesday - Mark Gabler, 42, was arrested for threatening to injure his 41-year-old wife during a dispute at the couple's Cadogan Flats Road home in North Buffalo Township, Armstrong County. Gabler was arraigned on a charge of terroristic threats and placed in the Armstrong County Jail in lieu of $5,000 bond.
