Butler County Symphony Orchestra has tickets available for its “Holidays,” concert at 7:30 p.m. Dec. 1, featuring traditional seasonal selections and the Butler Senior High Singers directed by Bryan Helsel, in the auditorium of Butler Intermediate High School. Guest conductor for the show is Walter Morales, a native of Costa Rica and music director of the Edgewood Symphony Orchestra and Undercroft Opera and principal guest conductor of the Pittsburgh Philharmonic. Handel's “Messiah” rehearsals are taking place for the New Castle Music Club under the direction of Butler resident Harry Cunningham. Rehearsals are from 7 to 9 p.m. Mondays. Anyone who enjoys singing may participate. The presentation will be at 3 p.m. Nov. 25 at St. Jude's Episcopal Church, 212 N. Mill St. Call 724-652-8773.

Turtle Island Quartet and Tierney Sutton debut a collaborative program called Poets & Prayers on Friday at the Manchester Craftsmen's Guild, 1815 Metropolitan St. The classical/jazz fusion program is at 7 and 9 p.m. Tickets start at $45. Call 412-322-0800.
