Butler County Symphony Orchestra has tickets available for its “Holidays,” concert at 7:30 p.m. Dec. 1, featuring traditional seasonal selections and the Butler Senior High Singers directed by Bryan Helsel, in the auditorium of Butler Intermediate High School. Guest conductor for the show is Walter Morales, a native of Costa Rica and music director of the Edgewood Symphony Orchestra and Undercroft Opera and principal guest conductor of the Pittsburgh Philharmonic. Handel's “Messiah” rehearsals are taking place for the New Castle Music Club under the direction of Butler resident Harry Cunningham. Rehearsals are from 7 to 9 p.m. Mondays.
