ORLANDO, Fla. — The UCA National High School Cheerleading Championships — including squads from Butler, Seneca Valley, Freeport and Moniteau — take place Saturday and can be viewed live at TV.varsity.com.

Butler performs at 8:16 a.m., Freeport at 10:24 a.m., Moniteau at 11:43 a.m., Seneca Valley at 5:33 p.m. Saturday in the preliminary round.

Semifinals and finals are later in the day.

A fee will be charged to watch the live streaming of the competition.

Inclement weather alters hoop slate

Friday morning's snowfall forced postponement of area boys and girls basketball games that night.

Hampton and Mars are now playing a boys-girls doubleheader Saturday at Mars. The boys varsity plays at noon, the girls at 2 p.m.

Karns City's girls basketball will play at Clarion at noon Saturday.

Moniteau's boys game at Redbank Valley will be played Tuesday night while the Warrior girls will host Redbank Valley Wednesday.

Butler's boys will play Monday night at Hampton as originally scheduled. The Golden Tornado girls host Hampton Monday night.
