Gordon and Grace Bonney of Butler celebrated 50 years of marriage with a surprise party hosted by their children. They were presented with a memory album of their years together prepared by their children and granddaughter-in-law.

Bonney married the former Grace Friedrich on Aug. 20, 1959, in Bel Air, Md.

They have three children, Deborah Barto of Kempner, Texas, Kristin McCall of Butler and G. Mark Bonney of Lake Wylie, S.C.

They also have five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Mr. Bonney is retired from Armco after 34 years of service.

Mrs. Bonney is a homemaker.

Mr. and Mrs. Bonney enjoy traveling and spending time with their grandchildren.

The Bonneys are members of Christ Community Methodist Church.
